Biography

Shengnan Li is a member of UZH Blockchain Center and postdoctoral researcher in Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technologies group at the Informatics Department, University of Zurich.
During the PhD study, she mainly focuses on data analytics and agent-based modelling in blockchain-based systems, including detection of selfish mining behaviour, data analysis on reward incentives and modelling staking mechanism. She received a bachelor's degree in financial engineering and master's degree on systems analysis and integration both from University of Shanghai for Science and Technology. She already published her PhD thesis: “Effects of Consensus and Incentives on the Functioning of Blockchains, which brings her systematic cognition of the blockchain ecosystem from both the academic and industry perspectives.
