“Network evolution of centrality maximizing agents: an empirical evidence of nestedness emergence” – Yiwen Wang, Mengtian Ciu, Jianhong Lin, Claudio J. This study demonstrates how agents’ efforts to maximize centrality drive the emergence of nested and in-block nested structures in growing networks, using the Bitcoin Lightning Network as a case study supported by empirical analysis and a validated game-theoretic model.
