Biography

Tao Yan is a postdoctoral researcher in the Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Systems research group and a member of the UZH Blockchain Center at the University of Zurich. His research focuses on blockchain system security and large-scale blockchain data analysis, with particular emphasis on blockchain forensics, DeFi security, and systemic risk. He has developed strong technical expertise in large-scale blockchain data processing, blockchain incident investigation, smart contract development,  real-world blockchain applications, and deep learning.
